Summer is a fabulous time when not only plants, but also people bloom. Under each heading you will find 2 essay options, and there are 12 in total.

(199 words) This summer was very memorable for me, because I not only played and visited my grandmother, but also prepared for school. All three months I dreamed of how I would stand on a ruler with a beautiful bow. But the summer itself was no less interesting than school days.

In June I played a lot in the fresh air, it was warm and fun. I tried roller skating and riding a two-wheeler. I also learned a new dance and learned to play the Crocodile game, where you have to guess the words. I also served breakfast to my parents and helped them get ready for work. In July we went to my grandmother, I stayed there for a long time. Granny lives in the village. Her neighbors have a lot of funny animals. I made friends with cows and goats, but the rooster and geese scared me. They ran after us and gave us no rest. It was especially fun to tease the rooster and run away from him, but grandma interrupted such games in time. She says that the rooster is also offended by such jokes. Towards mid-August, I returned home and began preparing for classes. I repeated numbers and letters, learned to get up early.

This summer was a great break before school. I learned a lot of new things and had a lot of fun. I hope the school year will be no less exciting and interesting.

For boys

(196 words) I just love summer because the warmth allows me to play outside a lot and do sports. The most interesting games in the yard take place in the summer. In addition, in the summer my parents bought me a ticket to the camp for the first time.

In June I played and walked a lot, went to the dacha and to my grandmothers, helped in the garden and at home. I'm always happy to help do what needs to be done, only if it's girly stuff. So I helped weed potatoes and other vegetables, repaired the barn with my father and picked the first berries. But in July they gave me a ticket to the camp! I went with joy. There was a lot of entertainment at the camp. The counselors came up with games, we often kicked the ball around and tried volleyball and hand-to-hand combat. There was a forest and fresh air all around, so we often ate in nature, sat by the fire and sang songs. We also had a celebration at the end of the shift, where I performed on stage. The trip was great. I would go back there again. In August I was preparing for school. We bought school things, learned the first poems, and repeated numbers. My mother bought me the first suit in my life.

I really enjoyed summer time. Now I've been to camp, met new friends and got ready for school. I had a great rest and gained strength.

Most of all I remember the trip to the sea. It was very hot and sunny. We went to the beach every day and admired the sea. I swam all day, and my parents sunbathed more. In the morning I looked for shells and found a lot. But one day I cut my leg on a sharp shell, and from then on I became more attentive. In the evenings we sailed on boats and ships, photographing the sunset. I got a lot of great photos! From the ship I saw fish and birds. There were especially many seagulls. What I liked most about the south was that they sold ice cream and lemonade everywhere, and I love sweets. After our vacation, we returned home and visited my grandmother. I stayed with her for two weeks. There I ate a lot of berries and fruits. Back in the village I met new friends. My new friend Dasha had a puppy, and I was very sorry to leave him. Now I also want such a small and fluffy dog and I will ask her for New Year. We had a lot of fun in the village, but in the city an equally exciting activity awaited me - getting ready for school.

I really enjoyed this summer because I met new friends, animals and even cities.

(225 words) This summer I spent a lot of time at the dacha and in the company of friends. Most often, of course, I played football, basketball and other games. My parents and I also went to an amusement park and went to nature. I never had time to be bored.

In June, I “lived on the street,” as my grandmother told me. Playing with the guys, I got very tanned and even grew. My day started with a quick breakfast, and then I spent the entire time playing and running outside. All my friends were free, and I had time to hang out with everyone. In the evenings we sometimes went to the cinema with our parents or spent time at home. I would often invite friends home in the evening if it was cold and we would play board games. Father taught us to play backgammon. This is a very interesting game that really makes you think. Then I went to the dacha to help my grandmother. I picked berries, fed her animals, and did other chores around the house. For this, my grandmother prepared me very tasty pancakes, pancakes, cheesecakes and other delicacies. She bakes very tasty pies and pizzas. In the village I met new friends and actively played with them. I also taught them to play backgammon. It was very nice and beautiful at the dacha, with forests all around. Therefore, when my parents arrived, we went into nature and spent the night in tents.

My most vivid memory is going to an amusement park where I went on rides. It was fun and very beautiful!

During the day we had a competition program, we prepared for performances and completed various tasks. The counselors prepared quests for us, we looked for various accessories and items. In the evenings we spent time in nature, singing and dancing. We also went into the forest and studied the local nature. The counselors showed the birds and animals living in the reserve. On the last day of the shift we took part in a concert and theatrical performance. I played the good fairy and was praised. When I returned home, my family and I went to a barbecue, and the next weekend we went to a water park. I had a lot of fun and pleasure in the company of my favorite people.

In August, we helped grandma harvest the harvest, and mom baked delicious pies with apples and currants. It was very interesting, but I was already looking forward to returning to school, to my friends from class. Now I have something to tell them.

(236 words) This summer has been unusual. I went to the seaside for the first time to a summer camp, where I learned a lot of new and interesting things. I also learned how to shoot a bow, learned new karate moves, and became a good swimmer.

In June I was given a trip to the sea. Along with the ticket, they bought me new things and games, which I took with me. The whole month passed in anticipation of departure. My parents were afraid to send me by train, but I handled it well, didn’t forget anything and behaved decently. It was very hot and beautiful in the south. Not far from the camp was the sea. Every day it played with new colors. It was great to swim there. The water was warm and clear. You could find shells at the bottom. The guys in my room showed me how to swim faster and dive deeper. We even had small competitions and I performed well. There were also interest sections at the camp. I prefer fighting and sports, so I studied karate and watched older guys boxing. Soon I too will be able to get into such a circle. I also remember the delicious and varied food. I would love to go there again. At the end of summer I walked and rode my bike a lot. I was entrusted with the responsibility of going to the store and visiting my grandmother.

During this summer I grew up and matured. Now I have more responsibilities, but I am less controlled. I'm glad I'm becoming an adult. Next summer I will definitely ask for a ticket again and get to know another new city.

(261 words) Summer is the best time of year to relax. I didn’t waste it and went for walks often. We regularly met with friends, went out with our parents and went to the movies. I learned to play badminton and volleyball. In addition, I met new friends.

In June, my parents often took me to various picnics and meetings. We grilled kebabs, went fishing and even went on a short hike. It was fun, warm and beautiful in nature. I collected wildflowers and made wreaths from them. They also showed me how to collect brushwood to light a fire and how to navigate the forest. They even bought me my own blanket and then promised to buy me a tent. Dad also gave me skates, which I had wanted for a long time. Now games on the street have become more diverse. While my parents were at work, I roller-skated and had fun on the playground. On weekends, Mom and Dad would take me to the movies or somewhere to play. It was my first time visiting a bowling alley. At first I couldn't knock down the pins, but then I was able to direct the ball correctly. The first score was not successful, but then I will definitely learn to play well. My parents also brought me badminton rackets. We played in our yard for days on end. I can already play quite successfully. At the end of summer, my mother and I baked charlottes and made stuffed peppers together. I learned to cook.

This summer was not only fun, but also very educational. I was able to try new sports and games, prepare an autumn menu and gain basic knowledge about safety in the forest. Soon my parents and I will go into the forest to pick mushrooms, and I will learn to distinguish between useful and harmful.

(245 words) This summer I helped adults a lot and became better versed in useful things. I planted and harvested crops, helped my grandmother with her household and my father in his garage. For my diligent work, I received a new bicycle and began to ride it often with friends. I also often played in the yard and worked out on the horizontal bars.

Summer began with worries and new responsibilities. I helped relatives plant vegetables, care for fruit trees and flowers. I was treated to pickles, homemade pies and kvass. I watered the garden every day and sometimes helped weed it. In between classes, I ran to abandoned apple trees, played with neighbor children and rode my bike. The boys and I built a tree house and played in it. The rest of the time I sat at the computer. My father allows me to play computer games related to history. In the middle of summer there were fewer worries, and my parents and I went into nature to swim. I learned to swim fast and ride a catamaran. It's like riding a bicycle, only in water. It was hard for me because I was not used to it, but I did it well. We also fried meat outdoors, and I mastered the grill. Now I can keep an eye on the barbecue and put out the fire when the coals catch fire. Dad says every man should be able to barbecue, and I'm already on my way to that.

Summer seemed pleasant to me, but short. In August I was harvesting and had not yet had enough rest and warmth. I hope that Indian summer will allow my father and I to go fishing and surprise my mother with a big catch.

(262 words) My summer went very well. I took part in competitions, learned to play chess and read a lot. My friends and I often spent time outside and took pictures. I also learned to cook and help my mother with housework. Every day was remembered for something special, but here I will present only the most vivid impressions of the summer.

Back in the spring, my mother and I submitted my drawing to the competition, and I won a prize. My parents and I celebrated this at a pizzeria; I was very pleased to feel like a winner. Since I was sick in June, I had to stay at home, and my dad taught me to play chess. We practiced every evening, and now I play well. We also played lotto, dominoes and checkers. I spent an hour a day playing a computer game, where I needed to create my own virtual world. There I met many of my friends from different parts of Russia. Communication with them was also my occupation. With my closer friends, we walked and arranged themed photo shoots. In addition, my mother allowed me to organize a pajama party at our house, where we also showed our creative inclinations. We decorated the house and made a cake from ready-made cake layers and cream that we prepared ourselves. Mom really liked our dessert, and now she asks me to help prepare everyday dishes. I am very pleased to feel so skillful and grown up!

I will remember this summer forever, because it will remain in countless photographs and memories. We spent a lot of time with friends and parents, I learned to cook new dishes and play new games. I will be pleased to remember every day of these holidays, because the holiday turned out to be eventful and interesting.

For boys

(246 words) My summer was very memorable and eventful. We traveled a lot with our parents to different places, visited relatives and friends, organized meetings and outings. I was no longer little, so I was responsible for the other children and entertained them as best I could. I liked this activity, it was fun.

The summer morning began with breakfast and cleaning the room. Then I would go for a walk if the weather was good, or sit at the computer if the weather was bad. My friends and I communicate in in social networks, so I wasn't bored. We chatted, played computer games and shared our impressions. I also watched entertaining videos and reviews of technology. It’s also nice to discuss them with knowledgeable people on the Internet. I dream of one day creating gadgets on my own, but for now I’m just looking and learning what’s already there. My parents encourage my hobbies and give me construction sets, which I also enjoy assembling. IN good weather I ride a bike a lot and am learning to skateboard. I play football or other active games less often. And in the evenings or on weekends, my parents and I go somewhere. Sometimes to a company barbecue, sometimes to a movie or cafe, sometimes to large stores and shopping centers. My mother also takes me to exhibitions or excursions. I prefer events related to technology, and my mother tries to pick something up.

The most vivid impression of the summer was the robotics exhibition, where real robots were shown. They performed everyday human activities, but it was very fast and simply amazing! Next summer I would like to attend robot fights.

(274 words) Summer is the most beautiful and exciting time! So many plans and hopes, so many emotions! And this time I was also lucky with the summer: my parents gave me a ticket to a camp at the sea. There were many adventures, beautiful places and warm clear water.

At first I was very nervous and didn’t know what was waiting for me there. But then I looked at photographs of southern cities and was inspired by the beautiful views. My expectations coincided with reality: my camp was in a picturesque place, the room was clean and bright, and the people were friendly and helpful. The counselors were kind and funny, and the roommates quickly became friends. We spent whole days under the hot southern sun. We were taken on a boat ride, taken to a dolphinarium and to the beach. We swam and sunbathed, collected shells and built sand castles. There were many master classes and clubs at the camp itself. We were artists, needlewomen, and athletes. It was very exciting and useful, I learned a lot. The counselors taught us singing and dancing, and at the end of the shift we organized a big concert together. I was very happy because my parents saw me on stage. They were very proud of me and gave me moral support. When I returned home, they and I continued to spend time in the place: we walked in beautiful places, took pictures, rode a boat, went to visit grandma and visit friends.

Of course, in the summer we talked a lot with our friends: we did funny hairstyles for each other, went rollerblading, ate ice cream in the parks and walked with our new dog. She was given to my best friend, and we trained the dog together. She became part of our company. Now I will also ask for an animal as a gift, but I like cats better. I am sure that after a successful quarter, parents will think about my proposal.

(292 words) The summer turned out to be warm, but very short. I didn't have enough time to rest, because I had grandiose plans for the holidays, and I would be glad to give myself at least a month in addition to the three. But September 1 is just around the corner, it’s time to take stock, and this is what I managed to do.

My dad and I celebrated the onset of summer by going karting. I learned to drive a car within the confines of a go-kart and I wanted even more to have my own. This is still a long way off, but now I began to visit my father in the garage more often and understand the structure of the car. I decided to understand how it works from the inside, and my father helped me a lot with this. I brought him tools, helped him paint over scuffs, and began to navigate the garage as well as the car. This knowledge was useful to me in repairing bicycles. I helped a lot of guys get them back to normal after the winter. But days passed by days, and it was time to break away from the garage and get down to business at the dacha. I tied up raspberry and tomato bushes, carried water to water the garden and fed the animals. Grandma has goats, chickens and even turkeys. She also went to look at rabbits for breeding, and I also participated in the selection. In the evenings, the neighbor children and I climbed trees and made bows and arrows. We also played ball. After returning from my grandmother’s, I started sitting at the computer more. There I played computer games and watched videos about cars. This is how I rested after my dacha activities. When my father arrived, I told him what I had learned. He also plays video games sometimes, so he lets me play a little too.

But most of all I liked driving with him in the car and attending barbecues with a group of people who could tell a lot about technology. I've learned a lot and now I'm getting ready to take part in a big mushroom picking and fishing trip.

In the summer, our whole family went to the circus. This was not my first time at the circus, but this time I especially enjoyed it. Before the show started, I was cheered up by buying my favorite cotton candy.

The performance was very interesting. The first part featured acrobats, clowns, and jugglers. And in the second - trained predators. It’s amazing how man manages to subjugate wild animals?

I especially liked the tiger who jumped from pedestal to pedestal through a hoop covered with paper, and then even through a burning hoop.

We returned home very cheerful, discussing the numbers we liked.

Summer is the most wonderful time. I always really look forward to the summer holidays. I like to play football, swim in the river, go to the forest, and travel. Summer is the best time of year for all this. This summer I played a lot of sports - I played football at the school stadium almost every day.

In the summer I not only walked, swam and sunbathed. When it rained, I read my favorite books. One of them is “White Fang” by Jack London. I really liked it and I want to talk about it. The main character, White Fang, is a wolf dog, very loyal and fair, capable of great and sincere affection. These qualities are sorely lacking in many people today.

I would like to have a four-legged friend like White Fang. I'm looking forward to next summer!

Sokolsky Misha

Summer is the most wonderful time of the year. In the summer we gain strength and have fun. The three months of vacation went “excellently”, leaving a lot of impressions. During the summer holidays, I went to the sea, relaxed at a school camp, stayed with my grandmother, and spent the rest of the time well at home.

I really liked the school camp, it was interesting and educational. We went to the river, to the zoo, and visited holy springs. I especially remember the trips to Zadonsk and Khvoshchevatka. Visiting different temples, I learned a lot and felt a special, calming atmosphere.

July was memorable for a trip to the sea with the whole family. The weather allowed us to swim and sunbathe, see the sights of Anapa and take interesting photographs as souvenirs. I really remember the water park with a variety of slides, pools and lots of water. We also went to the zoo, which left a lot about itself good impressions. At the entrance we were offered to buy various treats for the zoo’s pets. I liked feeding birds and animals from my hands. It was funny to watch the behavior of a monkey, toucan, raccoon and ostrich. But the cockatoo especially surprised us by starting to jump excitedly, flapping its wings and making unusual sounds. I have never seen such a variety of birds.

In August I visited my grandmother, where I felt comfortable and good. I read books, rollerbladed and biked. Arriving home, I met with my classmates. It seemed to me that there was nothing more beautiful than these holidays.

My holidays were “excellent”, because I had a rest with my family and friends.

Tolokonnikova Masha

We saw tanks and anti-aircraft guns taking part in the battles. For the first time I saw the famous “Katyusha”. Then we went to the museum. The guide told us about the days of the war and the life of soldiers during wartime. The museum displays various items of our soldiers: spoons and razors, weapons and uniforms from the war. We saw letters that soldiers wrote home.

When mom began to go into the water, a squeak was heard from the reeds. They were ferrets. They ran along the shore towards the reeds. They ran in formation, in a line, at the same distance from each other. About ten of them ran through. And when I approached the shore, the “commander” squeaked somehow differently, and those ferrets that did not have time to run fell silent. That day my mother and I didn’t see them again. But two days later I saw ferrets. The same ones. They ran back.

The best time of the year has come to an end - summer. And with it comes the most carefree time – summer holidays. We waited for them for a very long time, but they flew by very quickly. All summer I played my favorite football, went with my parents to the river, and relaxed at the dacha. But all good things come to an end quickly. This happened with the summer holidays.

I wanted to spend the last few days with double pleasure. So I went to my grandmother in the village of Bor. My grandmother allowed me absolutely everything. She even took part in some of my pranks. Seeing my happy face, my grandmother also rejoiced like a child.

But now there are two days left until the start of the school season. Mom devoted these two days to preparing for the first of September. At the beginning, we bought new clothes, hemmed everything, ironed it, prepared bouquets.

The Day of Knowledge has come. Even though I'm going into sixth grade, I still felt a little nervous. We woke up and dressed up in snow-white shirts. And a surprise awaited us in the kitchen - my mother baked an incredibly delicious huge cake. And with the whole big friendly family we went to school. I felt the happiest.

I even find it difficult to choose the best day of the holidays. I was happy every day!

Bondarev Misha

I sit and look out the window. It's cloudy and cool outside. And I really want to go back to summer, because my summer holidays were fun and interesting. In June I attended a school Orthodox camp. Tatyana Nikolaevna Shilova and I made various trips to holy places and learned a lot of new and interesting things.

When my parents started their vacation, we went on vacation to the Black Sea in the village of Vardane. We sunbathed and swam all day long. This summer I learned to swim confidently without the help of a circle. In Vardan I met girls from Moscow. We walked, played, watched cartoons, listened to music. It was very interesting for us. My dad was engaged in underwater fishing at sea, he caught fish that I had never seen. In the evenings, my parents and I went for a walk along the embankment, where discos were held and all sorts of things were sold. My parents' vacation ended very quickly, it was time to return, but I didn't want to.

The last month of summer flew by. On the weekend in August we rested on our Voronezh river. It’s a pity that every year it becomes dirtier, and vacationers don’t appreciate such a wonderful vacation spot...

This is how I spent my summer holidays. I'm looking forward to next summer!

In my opinion, summer is the most wonderful time of the year, because it is very warm, everything is beautiful around, and we have an excellent opportunity to relax. Summer is also a time of holidays and holidays. We can go anywhere, have a wonderful time by a pond, in the shade of emerald greenery, splash in warm water. Or you can go to the mountains, ride a bike or play all kinds of games.

The forest was magnificent that day! There was an aroma of flowers, honey and strawberries in the air. Everything around was green, only the tree trunks stood out as bright spots against a dark green background. The birds chirped in their own language, the woodpecker knocked.

Suddenly I heard suspicious sounds... It seemed to me that someone hissed next to me. I turned around and saw... a wriggling snake! I immediately lost my breath. I didn’t even remember what she looked like because I was so scared. I began to slowly retreat and then rushed towards our camp. I decided not to tell my mother about everything that happened, so as not to worry her. A little later, after having lunch and having a lot of fun, we packed our things and went home.

Yes... Time flies very quickly. It’s a pity that it’s impossible to repeat those moments and sensations that you experienced during the holidays. But I believe that next summer will also be unforgettable!

2. Essay on how I spent the summer, 6th grade

Summer is an amazing time. I was looking forward to the holidays with great impatience, and now they have finally arrived.

During the first week of the holidays, I went to an open-air painting with the guys from the art school. We depicted flowers, trees, grass, and much more there. After the open air I went to the village several times. We went there as a family to help our grandparents. Sometimes I stayed in the village overnight. And when I returned home, I visited my girlfriends and went for walks with them.

And then the sultry beach time began. My sister and I went to the beach almost every day, where we swam and sunbathed.

Alas... Summer flew by very quickly! And it's time to go to school again.

3. Essay on how I spent my summer

This summer has been interesting. The first month of vacation was very similar to previous summer vacations, since I stayed in the city. However, the next two summer months turned out to be incredibly interesting for me - I spent them in the village with my aunt. It is with these days spent outside the city that the most striking events and indelible impressions of my summer are associated with me.

Time in the village passes slowly, not at all like in big cities. It feels like a whole month has passed, when in fact it’s only a week. My morning usually starts with helping my aunt in the garden. Our village is located far from the village, and tap water is an unheard of luxury. So I go to the well with two old iron buckets. The water there is stunningly clean and very cold. I also help my aunt around the house, but whenever possible I run to play with my friends.

I have good friends in the village. We spend all our free time together. During the hottest time, we sit for hours on the bank of the river. After a swim, we frolic with all our might and look at the passing barges. One day my aunt gave me a hard time because I didn’t come to dinner. But in fact, I didn’t feel like eating at all, because together with my friend Pashka we were baking potatoes in the fire. It's such a pleasure to transfer hot potatoes from hand to hand, and then break them and eat them piece by piece. Do you agree that this is not a bowl of cooked soup? And most importantly - how much romance and happiness there are in these summer days, spent as if in another world!

I spent summer evenings in a real wooden hut. As a rule, after dinner my aunt was visited by her friends. Sitting at a large round table, they drank tea. And I was hiding on a large stone stove, or looking at books, or “getting my head around,” as my grandmother liked to say. But to tell the truth, I kept a diary, and, like Robinson Crusoe on a desert island, I counted down the days remaining until I returned to the city.

Sometimes it occurs to me that a village is an island remote from the city, and life on it follows a different rhythm. Either because of the proximity to nature, or perhaps simply because big cities in the endless pursuit of technological progress, we were torn away from a calm, measured life. But be that as it may, I am a city person. Which means my place is there. And yet, every time I leave this quiet island of tranquility, I will miss my village.

4. On the topic of how I spent my summer

Summer holidays always bring pleasant experiences. Lessons, school bells and breaks are left behind, and ahead is the expectation of something good.

My sister and I take care of our vegetables. Dill, parsley, sorrel and radishes grow in our green bed. We are happy to water and weed our green bed. And it’s very pleasant to hear the following words from my mother at dinner: “What an amazingly delicious salad your vegetables turned out to be! How smart you are, my girls!”

In the summer there is enough time: you can go for a walk with your girlfriends, go on a visit, and play different games. But most of all I look forward to a trip to the sea with my parents.

I finally learned to swim this summer and I'm very happy about it. I really like the sea. It is so deep and wide, and so mysterious that sometimes it even frightens with its unpredictability.

The sea can be both close and distant, warm and cool. How nice it is to plunge into fresh, cool water on a hot summer day! And swim, dive, splash!

I laid out sea shells on the table. Putting them to my ear, I can hear the sound of the surf. And you can feel the strength sea wave, which flies and hits a stone, throwing a lot of bright salty splashes into my face. I have fun, I laugh with everyone: with my parents, the sea, the sun and the seagulls.

After passing the exams, the long-awaited summer has finally arrived, and most importantly, the summer holidays. In June, my parents and I went on an unusual hike, which we have been doing for several years in a row. We drive by car to Lake Vuoksa, which is located in the Leningrad region, and then dad takes us in an inflatable kayak to one of the many uninhabited islands. Since the kayak is a two-seater, Dad has to make the trip from the car to the island twice. On the island we set up a tent and start doing various things - fishing, swimming, sunbathing and even picking mushrooms. There weren’t many mushrooms, but we caught a lot of fish, and every day my mother cooked amazing fish soup. This year we spent 5 unforgettable days on the island, unfortunately, during two of them it was pouring rain.

In July I went to a military sports camp. All day long we played sports, ran, played football or basketball, practiced martial arts, etc. In addition, we went to the shooting range to shoot machine guns and studied various weapons. Also, we were taught the history of the Russian army. It was very interesting! In the evenings we watched films, sometimes we went to a local club, where discos were held especially for us.

In August, I was at home, doing normal things, for example, playing various computer games, which I absolutely love to play. I went to the cinema with friends twice, but both films turned out to be uninteresting. I read several books for the school curriculum, most of all I liked Alexander Kuprin’s story “The Duel”. I began to slowly collect my school bag; they bought me all the stationery, as well as textbooks for school.

Option 2

After the end of the school year, I was at home for several weeks. I walked with friends, played on the computer and read books. My favorite was Amphibian Man. In it the author talks about young man Ichthyander, who could breathe underwater. Then I went to my grandmother in the village. There I helped her with housework. Grandma has a lot of apple and cherry trees in her garden. When I arrived in the village, the cherries were just ripe. Every day we woke up early in the morning and went to feed the chickens and ducks. Grandma has a lot of birds in her yard: twelve chickens and fifteen ducklings. We fed them millet and beet leaves. The ducks were very fond of beets and grape leaves. The ducks also loved to swim in the river. After eating in the morning, they walked from the yard to the river and turned back only in the evening. Ducks seemed smarter to me than chickens. Although the chickens were less afraid of me and allowed me to pet them. My grandmother also had a dog, Pirate. He is very smart and knows how to bring a stick on command. Pirate and I often played tag or just walked around the yard. On the street I played football with the neighboring children and rode a bicycle. At the beginning of July I went home.

Nothing has changed at home, only it has become much hotter. Now you could safely sunbathe in the sun. I went to the pool every day to swim with my friends and learned to dive well. In the summer I ate a lot of watermelon. Watermelons were always juicy and ripe. Dad and I quickly ate them. During this time I went to the movies to see Monsters University. I really liked the cartoon because it was funny and cheerful. In it, a young monster Mike, very similar to Smesharik, goes to university to study.

At the end of July we went to the sea in Sochi. It was very cool there! We went swimming in the sea every day. It was very warm and calm. My dad and I were looking for shells at the bottom, and I saw a live crab walking along the bottom. I really enjoyed diving underwater in the warm sea. In the evening, when it became cool, we walked along the embankment. It was very beautiful there - the lanterns and the moon were shining. There were cafes and souvenir stalls everywhere. We bought a shell ship there, which I will put on my table. Two weeks later we returned home.
