Priazovsky monastery settlement. Azov-Black Sea voyage. Taman Switzerland. Closest airports to Priazovsky village

During a short summer vacation, I managed to get used to two places with all my heart: Abrau-Durso and Taman Switzerland. If Abrau-Dyurso is a well-known place, then not all those who like to relax in our south know about Taman Switzerland.

Taman Switzerland is a small protected area of nature, located not far from the village of Priazovsky. It is a hilly area cut by ravines and rearing hills overgrown with wild vegetation. A significant part of the landscape of this corner of Taman is occupied by a kind of hawthorn forest and various steppe grasses. A unique feature of Taman Switzerland is a spring-derived lake with crystal clear water.

Why "Tamanskaya" is understandable, because the Taman peninsula. And that's why "Switzerland" ... Perhaps because of the high coast, hilly terrain.
The place is small, but so quiet and peaceful here.

Previously, I have already posted, but now a little text and individual images (well, where can I do without them ...)

It was a long day, which began at six in the morning in the Rostov region and ended on the high shore of the Azov Sea. We arrived here when the sun almost went down.

We were looking for a place to stay for a long time, so we wanted to be closer to the sea. As a result, the tent was set up in the dark under the headlights.
The place we chose was not the best - practically on the road. But since it is difficult to get here, and at night it is unlikely that someone wants to go down to the beach, they decided to stake out.

But it's better not to risk it))) The wind was constantly blowing from the sea. Therefore, the first night in the tent was terrible for me. There were rustles and footsteps everywhere. In the lowlands, by the lake, it would be more peaceful, but without a sea view. And it was worth it ... The Crimean coast was shining in the distance, and the lights of ships slowly floated across the sea surface.

In the morning neither light nor dawn woke up. Everyone was eager to swim and sunbathe. While Vovka was preparing breakfast and sorting through things in the car, I managed to climb around the neighborhood. The slopes are all covered with blackberry thickets. She is just picking up juice, and in the fall you can come here for a harvest.

And of course, what about the sea and without the sea?

Our silent companion and free-rider hare in combination

Here are just deposits of seashells

Here and there picturesque driftwood

And at times you can stumble upon strange skulls. We still didn’t understand who it was.

All in all it is a very quiet and secluded place. There is no beach infrastructure here. And there are no people. For what it is worth going here. It is such a pleasure to wander along a deserted beach, collect shells, swim in the sea, ride on the waves and not a soul.
And only a small handful of children from the sanatorium, about 30 people, can sometimes suddenly break this idyll)))

By the way, after 20 minutes everyone was packing up and the beach was empty again.
The beach here may be quite usual for the Azov coast. But the vegetation around the lake is quite unusual.

The village of Priazovsky, in the vicinity of which this magical place is located, is located away from the road to Port Caucasus and consists of only one street leading directly to the Savvino-Starozhevsky Monastery ...

The dome of the Trinity Church of the monastery in good weather can be seen from almost all more or less high points of the peninsula. Peering into the distance, more than once rested against him. And against the background of the relatively flat landscapes of the peninsula, interspersed with estuaries, the Temple on the horizon at times looked fantastic, like a beacon for a lonely lost soul.

The northernmost part of Taman is the village of Priazovsky, located 6 km from the coast of the Azov Sea. There is a village since 1823, a little more than 7000 people live in it, living mainly on income from agricultural activities.

Civilization has little affected these lands, there are no industrial enterprises in the vicinity, so the ecological situation here is quite favorable. Around the village are rounded hills and ravines, overgrown with southern wild vegetation - the landscape is calm and peaceful. The air is saturated with the scent of herbs and flowers, many of which have medicinal properties. Lovers of quiet secluded recreation in places untouched by civilization come here, and this area is called Taman Switzerland - for its serenity and smooth relief lines. The similarity is complemented by the lake, which stretches in the middle of the valley and looks very attractive surrounded by coastal plants.

How to get there

Lovers of recreation in Priazovsky need to spend a little more time on the road than lovers of Golubitskaya, Dolzhanka and Kuchugur, but they get the endless steppes and deserted beaches of the Azov coast.

The most convenient way to get to Priazovsky is from Anapa airport, by rail - from Fontalovskaya station. The sea route is also not excluded: the nearest pier is the port "Kavkaz". Of course, you can also come here by private car, including Priazovsky in the travel route along the coast of the Azov Sea.

Weather in Priazovsky

In this area, there are 280 sunny days a year, more than in any other resort in the country, and the average annual air temperature is kept at +26 ° C. Rains are extremely rare, and almost never in summer. The sea warms up very quickly, the swimming season begins in May.

Treatment

The lake is not simple, it has mineral water. It was formed as a result of soil subsidence, filled with spring water. Perhaps there will be investors who will invest in the creation of a health complex using the mineral water of this lake in their programs, but this is a question for the distant future. Currently, the lake is a significant balneological object not only for the village of Priazovsky, but also for the entire Taman Peninsula.

Beaches

The beaches, although they are far away, are all sandy. They do not have any infrastructure, they are wild, but this is what makes them the main attraction for those who choose to rest in Priazovsky. On the beach or in the immediate vicinity of it, you can pitch a tent and arrange a camping life, visiting the few village shops or a small market.

Shopping and markets

The market, despite its modest size, is able to satisfy the needs of holidaymakers in products that are traditionally fresh, tasty and environmentally friendly. There are several cafes in the village, where food is not prepared in advance, but as needed and using the same local products. Wine is served here, too, local, Taman - excellent, in no way inferior in quality to the most famous wines.

Hotels

In the private sector of the village, you can find accommodation that is comfortable enough so that the rest is not spoiled. Despite the lack of comfort in the modern sense of the word and the infrastructure that is typical for resort centers, rest in Priazovsky continues to be attractive for a large number of people. Moreover, from the point of view of acquiring real estate, the settlement, as it turned out, is quite an attractive place, which promises to further develop it. It is unlikely that this moment will please the fans of real "wild" rest, but the Taman Peninsula has a chance to get another resort with a developed infrastructure.

Not far from Priazovskiy there is a motorcycle camping - a place that bikers have chosen for recreation. Here you will find everything you need for the rest of unpretentious people: the opportunity to stay overnight, cook food, park a motorcycle. From here it is convenient to go on excursions around the Krasnodar Territory. All these circumstances very quickly made the camping known throughout Russia and popular among bikers who come here in whole columns, arrange rallies and specific events.

  • Where to stay: if your goal is a beach holiday, choose among the many hotels, pensions and guest houses in Bonton Yeisk, the invariably windy Dolzhanka and Primorsko-Akhtarsk, as well as the sunny village of Golubitskaya. Those who prefer a reasonable balance of beaches and excursions are advised to stay in Rostov-on-Don, Azov or Taganrog. In addition, they are waiting for their guests

About 7.3 km along an asphalt road and about 4.5 km in a straight line from the village of Ilyich, the village of Priazovsky is located. A few hundred meters from the village there is a reservoir with fresh water, thanks to which a place for recreation called "Taman Switzerland" was organized. The village of Priazovsky is located at the northernmost point of Taman, a few kilometers from the Chushka spit. He's not on the seashore. Nevertheless, the village is popular with vacationers, and is better known as Taman Switzerland, why Switzerland is unknown, but you cannot argue with the uniqueness of the village's surroundings. The village stands on the edge of a tall landslide cliff, and the lake is located in the lower third of this cliff, in the rear of the body of a huge landslide. Behind the village, the road begins to descend from a cliff, becomes unpaved (mostly sand), more or less normal, although with large slopes, there are signs everywhere, but it is quite far to go to the lake. Taman Switzerland is a valley of small ravines and hills, completely covered with wild vegetation. And about in the middle of the valley, the surface of a lake with mineral water plays with sunbeams. The water here is completely different from the water of the Azov Sea and contains many useful chemical elements. Taman Switzerland is a place for lovers of pristine nature and wild recreation. The main part of vacationers on Taman settles in Golubitskaya and Kuchugury, so those who spent a little more time on the road and came to Priazovsky get the deserted expanses of sandy Azov beaches near the village and the cleanliness of the surrounding steppes. In the village itself, housing is rented, there are several cafes, a market works where organic local products are sold: fish, fruits, vegetables and, of course, the unique Taman wine. A few kilometers from the village, a motorcycle camping has recently been organized, where bikers from all over Russia come to rest. The camping provides everything you need for an unpretentious holiday, food, accommodation, parking, as well as excursions along the most popular routes and objects of the Krasnodar Territory. The valley of "Taman Switzerland" is entirely composed of hills and gentle ravines overgrown with trees and bushes - today it rises fifteen meters above sea level. Its wild beaches complement the wild nature of this side of the Taman Peninsula. Truly - an island of primordiality and peace! You can also swim in the lake, but the water is cold. The beach of the Priazovsky village is located behind the lake. The beach is made up of a very large shell, there are stones (conglomerates) in the water, on which it is convenient to sit. It is still better to have a rest in the village with your own vehicle, it will be easier to get to the sea and the lake.

Lovers of quiet rest and connoisseurs of the pristine beauty of nature will be enchanted by the village of Priazovsky. "Taman Switzerland" is a protected area consisting of ravines and hills located at an altitude of 15 meters above sea level.

In the northernmost point of the Taman Peninsula, the village of Priazovsky is lost in the wilds of pristine nature. Not far from it there is a protected area of nature, which, thanks to its hilly terrain and landscaping, resembles a European landscape, for which it was nicknamed "Taman Switzerland". The valley rises 15 meters above sea level and attracts tourists from all over the world all year round.

"Taman Switzerland" is a suitable place for those who like wild, inactive rest. Here there is a unity with nature, you can endlessly admire the ravines and hills overgrown with wild bushes.

Radon lake

The pride of the valley "Taman Switzerland" has become a lake with mineral spring waters. The natural reservoir appeared due to natural subsidence of the soil. Its depth reaches 10 meters. Spring waters filled it.

Radon Lake is considered curative. Its waters contain dozens of chemical elements and compounds. One of them is radon, a substance used in medicine to treat problems with the digestive, nervous and cardiovascular systems. Tourists believe in its healing properties and annually travel to the shores of the reservoir.

Not every daredevil can plunge into the cold waters, but even the air in "Taman Switzerland" has a beneficial effect on the human body. Already 10 meters from the lake, you can see the tents of wild recreation lovers.

It is better to get to the lake from Priazovsky on its own, not every car will pass along the paths between the hills. You can get to the reservoir by off-road vehicle; by ordinary car, the road will be difficult and tiring.

How to get there

It is better to send on a trip to the Taman Peninsula to Priazovsky by personal transport. On the M25 highway, you need to get to the Chushka spit and drive through the village of Ilyich. "Taman Switzerland" is located 4.5 kilometers from it.

The wildlife sanctuary can be reached by train, going to the Fontalovskaya station or using the services of Anapa airport.
