In the capital, there is a special schedule for the work of Moscow city services during the New Year holidays 2018. First of all, the metro and the MCC are transferred to an enhanced mode.

From December 29 to January 8, the schedule of electric trains running from Moscow in all directions will change. On New Year's Eve and Christmas Eve, commuter trains will be extended until 2 am.
So, on December 29, electric trains will follow the Friday schedule, from December 30 to January 7 - according to the Saturday schedule, January 8 - according to the Sunday schedule. And on January 9, they will return to their usual schedule. In addition, 24 trains of the Central Suburban Passenger Company (CPPK) will be canceled due to a reduction in passenger traffic in a number of directions, and 15 electric trains of the company will depart later at night on January 1 and 7.
