Lavender did not appear in Crimea on its own, it began to be bred in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden on the southern coast of Crimea. In Provence, two varieties of this plant mainly grow - lavender and lavandin. Up to 500-600 m above sea level, lavandin grows (a species bred by breeders), which is mainly used in the production of soap, various creams and cleaning products.
